Bio

Wendy Bravo is the Program Coordinator for the Office of Education Abroad and works closely with faculty-led programs, internships abroad, and special programs. Having studied abroad twice in college, she is passionate about learning different cultures and getting lost in big cities. Originally from Southern California, Wendy has lived in three different states but has been adopted by South Florida. Throughout the school year, she is also an SLS instructor. In this role, she equips first-year students in life and 21st century skills to help them navigate through their college experience.  When she is not in the office, she is either trying a new recipe, reading a historical fiction novel, or exploring fun venues in Miami.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin & Marshall College and a master’s degree in International and Intercultural Education from FIU.
