Welcome back!
We here at the OEA hope that you truly had a life-changing experience abroad and now that you’re back, we want to hear about it! There are plenty of great ways to share your story and get involved with our office to help promote study abroad to other FIU students.
Share your story
Now that you’re back, you’re a great source of information for potential study abroad students. By creating a Student Profile, you can give interested students a glimpse into what studying abroad is really like from the perspective of a student who actually went! If you’d like to talk to other FIU students and share your stories and insights, send an email to edabroad@fiu.edu letting us know that we can give out your email to students interested in going on your same program. Just be sure to put “Email consent for study abroad questions” as the subject of the email.
Submit your best photos
We here at the OSA love getting to see your photos from abroad, and we’re always looking for new ones to use in our publications and in our Picture Gallery. To submit a photo, just email it to edabroad@fiu.edu, and make sure to include your name and the location the photo was taken in the subject of the email. Keep in mind that by submitting your photos, you are consenting to their use in future publications from our office. Ideally, we’re looking for photos that capture unique and interesting moments from abroad, inside and outside the classroom.
Join the study abroad P.A.W. Representatives
Panthers Around the World (P.A.W.) Representatives are FIU students who support the Office of Study Abroad in its mission to encourage and enable FIU students to study abroad. They are student representatives of the OSA that share their experience and enthusiasm for study abroad with other FIU students.
