During Your Exchange

PantherSoft (MyFIU): FIU’s administrative functions, including records, registration, and student financials, are managed through PantherSoft, also known as "MyFIU" for students. Upon acceptance into the ISE program, you will receive login credentials and instructions to access this web-based system.

PantherMail (Student E-mail): All FIU students, including exchange students, receive an FIU e-mail address. Important communications such as messages from professors, campus updates, and event information will be sent to this email. It’s crucial to check your FIU e-mail regularly or set up forwarding to another frequently accessed account. Login details will be provided upon acceptance to the ISE program.

Campus Life and Events: FIU offers abundant opportunities for involvement. The Office of Education Abroad (OEA) organizes monthly events for exchange students to connect with each other and the broader FIU community. You will receive an events calendar at orientation.

Student Life Groups: FIU hosts diverse student life groups catering to various interests and backgrounds. Whether you're interested in culture clubs, leadership organizations, hobby groups, sports leagues, or service activities, there's something for everyone. More information about these groups is available through FIU’s student life resources.

Office of Education Abroad and ISSS Activities: In collaboration with the Office of International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS), the Office of Education Abroad offers a dynamic range of activities for exchange students to participate in. Stay updated with the ISSS Calendar of Events and make the most of your exchange experience at FIU.
