
FIU students have the opportunity to participate in short term programs domestically with other FIU students led by an FIU faculty member and/or administrator. As a participant in the program, you will be required to submit pre-departure items and documents issued by the Office of Education Abroad. Please note that the Office of Education Abroad regularly sends emails to your FIU inbox.
Study Domestic Travel Requirements
The minimum GPA requirement to participate in a Study Domestic travel program is a 2.5. However, each program has a specific set of academic requirements as determined by the Faculty Director and/or Coordinator for that program.

What to expect upon acceptance into a Domestic Travel
Your faculty director and/or coordinator will inform you as to whether you’ve been accepted into the program for which you’ve applied. All students who have been accepted into a Study Domestic program must follow the steps listed below in the FIU Education Abroad portal.
